Helping Mommy

Boy do I love to help Mommy! A couple of weeks ago, I was helping Mommy make zucchini bread. She let me put ingredients in the mixer bowl. With the first egg, only the yellow part went in the bowl. The clear slimy part went on the counter. Mommy cleaned it up and just told me to be more careful. So I was more careful with the other 2 eggs. Those eggs went in the bowl with no problem. Then came the sugar. I spilled quite a bit of it on the counter (I didn't do it on purpose. I helped to clean it up by eating it). Then I wanted to help Mommy mix the batter quickly so I turned the mixer on to fast. You should have seen it. The batter flew everywhere - all over the counter and everything that was on the counter, in my hair, all over me and Mommy. It was fun.

Just yesterday I decided to help Mommy unpack from our trip to Georgia (we went to see Uncle Jesse graduate from Basic Training). We got home last Saturday and she still hadn't unpack so I just thought she needed help. I got into the suitcase and threw all of the clothes out onto a pile "for laundry".

Ee cleaned up the mess for me. I am teaching him how to be my helper.

Donut Trees

This is a picture of a donut seed.

A long time ago (Mommy says back in April), I was visiting Grammy and Pappy. Pappy took me outside and I helped him plant some seeds. He said that they were donut seeds and in a couple days we could pick donuts off of the donut trees that would grow.

Sure enough, Mommy and Daddy took me to their house a couple of days later. There were new trees all over the yard and each tree had a donut in them. Me and Ee got to pick the donuts and then EAT THEM!!! I love donuts!

This is a picture of Ee just last week enjoying a donut. I think I am going to talk to Mommy about planting donut trees in our garden instead of yucky zucchini!

VBS

Mommy has been keeping me so busy these days. Everyday last week we got out of bed, got dressed, ate breakfast, and then went to church. Mommy said that the kids were going to school at church to learn more about Jesus. I had a good time. I took 3 of my babies. I pushed them in a stroller, fed them, and laid them in the sun from a sky light (Mommy made sure I put pretend sunscreen on them). I think they had a great time too.

Every morning we would get to the church and this crazy blond lady would come up to me and try to get me to talk to her. Of course I barely looked at her hoping that she would just go away. I think I have seen her some where before because I have heard her voice before. I just can't figure it out.

Anyway, I had fun with Aunt Beffy & Mr. Richie. Miss Sawee and I colored together. I think I had more fun than the kids going to school.

I was tagged by Classic Mamma for this 6 word memior. I'm not sure what a memior is and I can only count to 6 sometimes. With help from my mommy, I will try to do this.

I am Smart!

Mommy tells me that I am so smart.

I have known most of my colors since my 2nd birthday. I know red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, white, black, and brown. I am just learning grey.

I know alot of animals and what sounds they make. I know too many to list.

I can count to 7 or 8.

I recognize some letters and numbers.

I know some shapes like triangle, square, rectangle, circle, oval, star, and heart.

Mommy used to say, "I can't wait until you can tell me what you want." Well, now I tell her all the time. I can say almost any word. I am always amazing Mommy with the words that I know. But now she is always telling me to stop talking or be quiet for a little while. She is so confusing!

It Snowed AGAIN!!!

It nosed (snowed) again yesterday!!! After I helped Daddy shobel (shovel) the sidewalk, Daddy helped me build my first noman (snowman). We even gave him a carrot nose!

My First Real Snow

Yesterday it snowed! When I first looked out the window, I saw the snow flakes but everything else looked normal. Then I looked outside a little bit later and there was snow(I pronounce it "nose") everywhere ... on mommy's car, on the sidewalk, on trees.

After my afternoon nap, Mommy put a lot of clothes on me and Ee. Mommy got my Pooh shovel out for me to play with (My aunt "ween" bought it for me for my first Christmas. I am finally able to use it). I had so much fun. I really like the snow.

I played for what Mommy said was 20 minutes, but then my hands started to hurt from being really cold. Mommy had put mittens on me, but the snow kept sticking to them and I didn't like that so I took them off.

Last night we were at Grammy's house for dinner. When we were leaving, Daddy had to clean the car off so I got to play in the snow a little bit more! I really like the snow!

Maybe Mommy will let me play in it again today.
