I Turned 5-years-old

It's been a while since I've blogged. A lot has happened. I will take a couple days to update you.

First, I turned 5!!! I had a friend party at the beginning of October. Mommy always asks what kind of party I want. This year we decided on a craft party because I love crafts!!!

We made sea creature puppets.

We made puzzles out of Popsicle sticks,
We decorated backpacks made out of t-shirts.
And we made clay beads for necklaces, zipper pulls, and key chains.
Instead of a cake, we had cupcakes....
...so that we could decorate them.
My party was a lot of fun. If I could, I would have a party everyday.

My First Lemonade Stand

I had my first Lemonade Stand at my grandmom's house this weekend. They were having a yard sale so I tried selling lemonade and tea. I had one "real" customer. It was fun! (I just don't like smiling for pictures)

My Curtains

I wanted curtains on my bed that I can open and close easily all by myself. Mommy and I went shopping for the fabric the other day. We went to a store with a lot of fabric. I did not have any trouble finding what I wanted....nice, shiny, soft pink fabric.

Yesterday we took the fabric to Grandmom's house. She cut and sewed the edges for me. (Mommy said Grandmom is better at sewing than she is. I told her to watch Grandmom and learn.) We brought the curtains home and hung them up.

As soon as we hung them up, I had mommy move my dress-up clothes inside. I love closing the curtains, changing my clothes, and revealing my "new" outfit! It is so much fun.


I slept inside the curtains last night too. It's like a tent!

AAAAHHHHH!!!!

My little brother drives me crazy sometimes. He is just so noisy! I made this sign to put on my bedroom door, because I don't want him in there!

Now I'm going to go play with him and his Th*mas the Tr*in.

My New Bed

I liked sleeping in my mommy and daddy's room. I would go to bed in my old bed, but then in the middle of the night I would go over to Mommy and Daddy's room and sleep on a "cushion" on their floor. One night Daddy told me that if I slept in my bed for 5 nights in a row, he would make me a "bunk bed"...he calls it a "loft bed", but I told him I'm calling it a "bunk bed". Mommy made me a sticker chart to keep track and I filled it up! I slept in my old bed for 5 nights in a row.

On Father's Day, we went to the store. Daddy picked up all the wood and I picked the paint...PINK!!!! (My favorite color.) He started working on it. This weekend he surprised me when I came home from a night at Grandmom and Poppop's. It was set up in my room. I LOVE IT!!!!

I was nervous about climbing to the top at first, but it didn't take me (or Ian) long to figure it out. We can both go up and down the ladder all by ourselves!

Mommy and Daddy are going to add a marker board to the end for me and also put up some fabric to make it like a tent underneath.

Did I mention, I LOVE MY NEW BED!!!!???

The Last Part of Painting Camp

I almost forgot to finish blogging about my painting camp.

On Thursday, we learned about complimentary colors. I got to fingerpaint with blue and orange! Then I used a "knife" to finish my painting.

On Friday, my teacher cut pictures in half, glued them to my paper and I finished the picture with paints. I did 2 trains and 1 fish!
